How To Use The Resource Box
When you look at a book in a store, one of the first things you want to know is who the author is. You will often read their bio to find out more about them. The same thing is true for article marketing also – people want to know who you are and a little bit about you.
When you write an article on any subject in any niche, one of the most important sections is the “author sig – Resource Box”. Sig is just been abbreviated for the word signature. In article marketing, this appears at the bottom of the article.
The first requirement is your name. Some people prefer to use their real name while others prefer to use a pen name. The reason why some people use pen names is because they are in a number of niches. They want to be an authority using this name over and over again in the same niche.
If the article you have written is to promote a product or your business be sure to include your website. If you have recognized qualifications in your particular niche – always mention them. It lends more credibility to your article.
In your article, just give a brief summary of what you are offering. Don’t give the full story because you want the person reading the article wanting to learn more. You can be quite bold here with your call to action statement here. You may write something like “If you want to learn more why not visit my site at http://www.healththroughhealinghands.com.”
In some article directories the resource box can be up to 300 words but it is advisable to only use about 10 to 20% of your entire article. You want the visitor to mainly focus on what you written within the article.
Writing an article is a give and take situation. You give by writing and contributing the article which will reach a targeted audience and you hope in return that these people will visit your site.
