There is a saying that a picture is worth a thousand words but if you don’t have your own pictures, you need to know where to go to get them.
There is a great site that a lot of people do not know about – where you can be guaranteed to get Royalty Free photos.
Go to where you can sign into Google.

Click on images first and then Advanced search. You will the be taken to another page.

I have only captured the bottom of this page because these are the most import thing you have to change if you want royalty free photos. The modification feature allows you to actually modify these images.
This is most important that you use the second radio button here and then you tick both for “Commercial Use” and “Modification.” I also like to use the “Strict Filtering” Button.
Then go to the very bottom right hand corner and click “Search Images.”
Type in what you want to search for and as you see, I typed in Traffic, and there are over 30,200 images available.

I believe that you have plenty of images to go through in each category you choose.
Before you download any photos make sure that the words “labeled for commercial reuse with modification” are at the top of your screen.
So if you have found this helpful, leave me a comment.

Hi Sue
I was unaware that Google had royalty free images. This information will be useful not only to me but also to many more members of IBCX.
I will have to start using images and videos as to date I haven’t used either in any real way.

Hi Richard
A lot of people do not know that but you just have to make sure you mark the right boxes to ensure they are royalty free.

Hi Sue,
I did not know that Google would let you define your image search for reusable commercial pics.
I checked it out. But as with Royalty Free sites, I would definitely read over the image’s license conditions and only use people images if there’s a model’s release.
Thanks for that great trick. It’s one I will use from now on!!!
